Magic Kingdom (Disney World part 3)

February 2017

We actually chose to spend 2 days at the magic Kingdom (Tuesday and Saturday) because there is just so much to see and do. Our first day was pleasantly less crowded. We were able to enjoy a bunch of the smaller, but still delightful rides.

Like the merry-go-round (twice!)

And the teacups (three times! with no line!)

The speedway! Socks and I got a really slow car... but we still had fun.

Grapes and Pencil were behind us (in the yellow car)

And a bit farther back were Feta and Dad. Feta was NOT pleased about being split from the group, however, and their ride was probably much less fun.

Next, the Astro Orbiter.

And Winnie the Pooh... We liked the wait in line as much as the ride itself!

We saw Buzz (it took me back to Sock's 2-year-old days....)

We enjoyed a bunch of other rides too. PeterPan, It's A Small World, Swiss Family Treehouse,  The Little Mermaid Show, Buzz Lightyear's Ranger Spin, Space Mountain...(one of the best in my opinion)

MOST of us enjoyed them.... Small World was deemed creepy by my oldest two. I hear they are scarred for life. I say you have to at least see it once.

Pencil got to become an official Pirate

And we rode the Pirates of the Carribbean. (a few times... it's another one of my personal favorites!)

We rented a double stroller for the week, and it was the best choice! Feta napped in there daily, and we frequently had Pencil take a break in there too. This is the picture of them chilling with my cousin Tia while the bigger kids and parents went on Splash Mountain.
(it was so fun to see Tia- cousins who live a whole country away are hard to see very often! She even shared her phone and her pokemon-go with Pencil. Needless to say she became an instant favorite)

Extra thanks to Tia for sharing her access to memory maker (the park photo system) through her season pass. She was able to share the ride photos with us even though we didn't purchase memory maker for ourselves. (in the future.... that's a maybe for me. It's not cheap, but the relief of professionals catching the shot so I don't have to is very valuable. PLUS-- the silly ride photos!)
