This baby is a month old!
She is more than 8 pounds 4 ounces now, and I feel like she looks like a new kiddo already.
She's getting delicious baby-rolls. And look at those cheeks! Let me tell you from my frequent nibbling, they are scrumptious!
She still hates getting her diaper changed (although she does not have a full melt down scream session every time now, so progress....)
She has developed the habit of chuckling in her sleep. It is a cute dimpley smile and hearty"heh, heh, heh!" It makes me very happy (especially at 2:00am when there is little to be happy about)
She is not a very skilled burp-er, but it is evident that having a burp stuck drives her crazy. She won't sleep until we get it out.
Grapes is a fantastic helper. She holds and rocks her. She's even changed a few diapers!
Sock loves to hold her, or let her hold his hand. He is always aware of where she is and what she is doing.
Pencil has accepted that she's a permanent fixture. He is still quick to observe when she is a 'cry baby' but he will also rock her cradle and try to comfort her in the car. "Sh Sh, Feta Levon-ade-ah" (Lemons are called levons still)
I'm still tired all the time- but it's amazing the difference a month makes.
I'm excited to see what month two brings.
