Want some cake?

We are having a baby. This September our family will be a family of 6, not just 5.
Whoa. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.

When we found out the baby's gender, we decided to make a cake to show the kids.

I think we've all adjusted to the idea of another little girl in our house. We just need to do all the physical stuff  to get ready (like buy a new crib! Remember when Pencil trashed the last one?)

and just FYI, we will not be naming this little girl Max (although it is a nice name). We have a different three letter name in mind. Now to figure out a blog pseudonym with enough panache to join the ranks of Grapes, Sock, and Pencil...
