a quick note

Feta is seven months old now.
Time is moving too fast!

She loves her walker, and moves VERY fast in it. Toes beware!

 She is getting to be a much better sleeper, a skill I, for one, am truly grateful for!



She's a very smiley baby, but her giggles are harder to come by.
Socks is a master at helping her laugh.

 She's a helper. In the most unhelpful ways.

 Her hair has begun to curl, which is adorable and slightly wacky. It's also staying very blonde. The other kids' hair had a lot of red in it at this stage, but Feta's hair is very light (to the point of seeming transparent in the sunlight!)

 She chews everything and drools constantly. You'd think there would be teeth with all that, but there aren't any signs yet.

She is a confident sitter, and a very mobile little girl (even when she's not in the walker) she does an army-crawl (arms and toes) and a bum-scoot, as well as roll and reach.

She's loving 'real' food, except for peaches. She'll just stare down the spoon when it's peaches.
We've even managed a truce with bottles (in small quantities and if the mood is right)

She's has us all wrapped firmly around her little finger, and we have happily let her have a large place in the real estate of our hearts.
