The Lego Movie- a huge hit!

I used to hate the 'winter' semester of college. Every year, it was a torturous slogging through of the bleh post-Christmas winter until the spring finally showed up, at which point I didn't care about school anymore and just needed summer to come and take me away.

That is mostly how I feel about this year too. The weather has warmed (it's supposed to be in the low 60's later this week) and it is all I can do to remind myself that FEBRUARY means more winter to come. Don't let that teasing warm breeze fool you!

What I DO love is being around these crazy monkeys. They keep me laughing.



In church, Pencil leaned over during the Sacrament and stage-whispered, "Wadder plus slobber makes blood, right Mom?"
"Um, no! Shhh!"
One heartbeat later. "Mom, then what plus slobber makes blood?"

 At the Dollar Store, Pencil spontaneously shouted, "OOOH! I need a sparkle hat!"

Waiting for the bus, my boys had a race, then when they tied they gave each other gold medals to celebrate. This is them, biting the gold to show it's real. (Watch the Olympics much?) (Plus also, the stipulations of the race were, "Who ever can get to mom first but not on the dog poop, GO!")
